Faced with the task of undertaking the first airside commercial development at Johannesburg International Airport, the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) turned to ASA for specialist Project and Construction Management advice.

Working with the property team at ACSA a scheme was put together to meet the specific requirements of both the landlord and tenant. In order to service their international clients, Guardforce International required state of the art security, aswell as a high tech spec to the offices. Meeting these requirements whilst ensuring a market related rental was the responsibility of the ASA Cost Control and Procurement Division.

ASA were able to conclude the project within budget, whilst maximising the involvement of previously disadvantaged contractors. The ASA site team assisted the emerging contractors to ensure that the required level of quality was achieved.
