ASA group company ASA Interior was recently awarded the contract by global business centre group Regus to manage the R7-million interior fit-out and technology installation at its newest SA centre in the Country Club Estate office park in Woodmead.
"This installation is a textbook example of how we source and select expertise in various fields and manage and co-ordinate its application to ensure that the client has a single point of contact for a complete and cost-effective service," says ASA Interior director Paul Gange.
"We were responsible not only for a fit-out in which very high-tech elements had to be seamlessly integrated with more traditional ones, but ultimately for ensuring that the offices and other workspaces provided met a specific requirement for maximum flexibility."
Each workspace in a Regus centre whether a one-person workstation or a 50-person open plan office - comes "readymade", complete with ergonomically designed furniture and full telecommunications and IT cabling and connectivity, including high-speed Internet access.
ASA Interior was also responsible for the construction and set up of a state-of-the-art main communications room at the Woodmead centre, where Regus clients can rent space to accommodate the servers for their private computer networks.
